Gawker is running a hilariously entertaining article about lying reporters and the seedy techniques they use to get sources and quotes. Allegedly, an US Weekly reporter sent a threatening letter to the family of Jessica Simpson’s boyfriend, encouraging Tony Romo’s family to talk, employing such manipulative statements as “There are many rumors floating around that I’m sure you’d like to clear up” and saying they should speak out since “Jessica Simpson’s side is controlling the media right now.” Ah tabloid glory…
