Obligatory SATC Post

For those of you who didn’t immediately recognize those four little letters, SATC, as the acronym of the hit-show-turned-movie “Sex and the City,” congrats. You have somehow escaped the white squall of publicity and anti-publicity (which actually garners more heat than regular press) surrounding the release and subsequent box office trouncing of Sarah Jessica Parker’s ode to all things New York.

Folio magazine takes a look at this female-driven cinematic epidemic from an interesting standpoint: how does SATC affect the future of magazines? Are the show’s 40+ heroines the last generation to read traditional print? Does the end of the “Sex and the City” era mean the end of glossy Vogue pages as well?

Read more on Folio HERE.

Did you know “Sex and the City” started out as a book? Do you have a sassy novel you’d like to get published, too? Well why don’t you send a query letter to Red Dress Ink and get your heroine her literary world debut. WordHustler wants to help you make your dreams a reality. As Samantha would say: “How fabulous.”
